Betrayal Of Antigua Barbuda

As an expatriate native of Antiguan, I am ashamed and enraged by the apparent betrayal and continued political shenanigans and shady tactics of the government to secure another term in office. I am always hopeful that the patriots, proponents of democracy, and accountable government will prevail. However, I must admit I am not feeling it for the pending election.

It's hard to keep hope alive for this one. Somehow I have a dread feeling that the Chincums are calling the shots in Antigua, given the debt owed to them. It's not farfetched. They can help to rig the election in favor of their new "Caribbean Comrade's Party" to ensure their recolonization of Antigua and Barbuda continues unabated.

Natives of Antigua and Barbuda, this might be your last chance to free and save yourselves from the claws and jaws of the grim reaper and his army of foreign emissaries, affiliates, and comrades. Ever wondered why people from Caricom countries, Africa, China, and foreigners from all over are flocking to Antigua, given the same right and privileges as Antiguans to vote in elections, own land and property, and live in the country indefinitely?

It's not hard to figure out. The politicians are building a new base of foreign nationals, which begs the question. Are thousands of Antigua and Barbudans living and enjoying all the perks, privileges, and political and national rights across all the other Caricom member countries? I don't think So!

Maybe a handful here and there in a few islands, but Antiguans' and Barbudans' traditional migration and emigration patterns are to the continents, not neighboring Islands. It's time to awake from your slumbering sleep Antiguans. It's not too late to reclaim your glory, pride, and dignity amongst great nations of the world. The government is boasting about its accomplishment, hoping to win another term, but what are they?

Some of the government's major accomplishment since in office starts with granting amnesty to non-nationals who are not fleeing political persecution and the establishment of a legally questionable and shady scheme to sell Antigua passport to anyone with the money. Wait! There's a lot more than I can put in the article, but here are a few.

The increase in dangerous weapons, ammunition, narcotics, and crimes in the country. The highest inflation and cost of living in the history of Antigua and Barbuda. Perhaps the shadiest of the know accomplishment is the appointment of a Jamaican man indicted for fraud in his country to hold the position of DPP in Antigua.
